Steampunk Bong
thingiverse
This steampunk pipe is modeled after the steampunk pipe from CreatorLes: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275541. I built it from scratch using FreeCad because their stl-files wouldn't load properly. Put 16 pieces of M3 x 8 screws and nuts together to assemble it. The tubes can fit AA batteries inside if you want to create an electronic gadget within. This item was printed with copper PLA. Print Settings Printer: Custom Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.5 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height Infill: 15% Notes: I used a grid layout for the supports in my slicer settings and previewed them to find ones that work easily. One of the bottom half spheres has slightly less space than the other because I made an error in FreeCAD who was unable to recalculate the dimensions after I fixed it. It won't be visible as it doesn't affect the outer shape.
