Update: I have added a new version that has thinner walls. I made the inner walls angled to run parallel with the exterior walls. They are 3mm thick and should be plenty strong for normal usage. The cord sits inside much better without a lid to assist since the walls now hold it in place. I did have to remove the sd card holders to accomplish this.I cut a groove through the length using a slightly enlarged cad model of the steam deck. This means it is shaped perfectly to hold the deck. The front would have contacted the screen so I curved it away right before the screen. There is a picture to illustrate. Does not block any of the screen and feels very sturdy.This model was rebuilt from scratch since there were no cad files provided. I worked from the original dimensions as best I could but there may be very minor difference in dimensions. The inner curved walls is one such area.
