Steamdeck - Basues Powerbank Holder (PPADM65 20,000mah)
prusaprinters
For the Baseus Adaman Powerbank (PPADM65 20,000mah)v1.1fixes some double geometry that was present in the original model.Slightly increased tolerances, which should make it grip the Steamdeck and the Powerbank better.Inspired by deckmate.me, originally set out to edit the model but realized soon enough that it would be far easier to just create a new one from scratch. Thanks to Valve for releasing the CAD model and Deckmate.me for making the files available to download. While I really like the design of the Deckmate, I simply wanted something I could use with just the Basues 65W powerbank. A simple print, no other materials needed. There was a comment about the design of the print and how it wasnt sufficient enough to hold on to the system/powerbank. Please check the video below for a quick shake test. How I made this:Imported both the Valve Steamdeck CAD model and the deckmate model.Used both for general dimensions and placement, to make sure everything would fit properly.Originally set out to create it in fusion360, but quickly changed to Maya as it allowed me to work faster using traditional poly modeling.I measure the powerbank with some calipers and tried to make it fit as close as possible.Unfortunately it is not a perfect fit, but it works well enough. It has been designed so that it can be printed with a large flat surface on the printbed, after printing, you simply flip one part upside down and slot it together while putting it on the Steamdeck.Originally uploaded to thingiverse:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5459546
