The Prussian Navy's Radaviso SALAMANDER was a steam ship built in 1857. Equipped with two rudders, it could propel itself forward or backward with equal ease. As a coast guard vessel, it boasted four 40-pounder cannons and an overall length of 63 meters. Based on the Prussian Radaviso SALAMANDER model, this highly detailed recreation is realistic in every way. All parts are fully unwrapped with UVs, ensuring seamless textures. Preview rendering was accomplished using V-Ray 2.40, with a 2014 file created in 3ds Max. Scene settings include all Vray parameters, polygons totaling 337,390 (turbosmooth level 0) and 2,688,748 (turbosmooth level 1), along with vertices of 353,172 (turbosmooth level 0) and 1,379,074 (turbosmooth level 1). A total of 25 textures are included, ranging in resolution from 1024x253 to 8192x8192. The model also features a realistic sea water material. All measurements are in real-world scale, using centimeters as units. No external plug-ins were used in the creation of this model.
