The steam keychain version one has the ability to securely attach itself to any key ring by way of a convenient thread. The more advanced steam keychain version two, however, boasts the capability to directly clip onto a key ring with no middleman required. Unfortunately, early versions of the steam keychain one proved problematic due to their coin design which unfortunately featured a hole that was too small to allow for a secure attachment.
