Steam Engine Circa 1830
grabcad
Greetings everyone! I'm excited to share my latest project - a replication of an 1830s two-cylinder steam engine. You can download the blueprints from this link: http://www.inventorwizard.be/blueprints/index.html. I followed the original drawings closely but made adjustments for errors, omissions, and added a Flyball (centrifugal) Governor of my design. This project presented a challenge in modeling all threads to specification, internal and external, as well as fasteners and fittings. Proper clocking during assembly was crucial. I've shared my Solidworks 2014 part and assembly files, along with several other formats. If you need a specific format not included, just ask! For the best viewing experience, download the high-resolution renders. Cheers! Dave Model Stats: Total Parts: 2,645 Number of bodies: 2,722 Unique Parts: 105 Number of Gears: 2 Total Assemblies: 23 Total Mates: 223 Polygons to Render: 27,452,294.
