UPDATE 16.06.2022:So it turned out that after 30 minutes the unit can get pretty warm. Printed in PETG it does not really matter, but if you dont feel comfortable with it I added a version that uses an additional 30x30 5volt fan to get rid of the heat. It does sacrifice the kickstand but will add much more efficient cooling. Also, if you encounter a noisy whine from the build when switched on add a 22 microfarad  15 volt capacitor to the secondary side of the voltage booster!   If you want to play certain games originally played on very well known dual screen handheld the right way, this is the Mod for you!  The “Steam Double Decker”  (name decision made by Redditor)  adds a second, foldable Screen to your Deck, Easy to attach and connect. Comes with its own 18WH battery and USB C charging port. 1024x600 Pixel Resolution IPS Display.The whole setup is modular and the wiring is straight forward and easy except ONE part, the USB C to HDMI cable….. problem is, the shortest I was able to find was 0.5meters in length  which still needs to be shorted  to fit inside the case, and oh damn…..take your time because soldering an HDMI to USB cable is tedious, possible, totally, but …..yeah  loooots of tiny wires. Everything should be fine printed in PLA except the upper Clamp part, print that on in PETG as it has to withstand the exhaust fan heat.  The ribbon cable is totally fine and the big arc over the fan exhaust has enough space for the hot air to escape freely.So if you happen to find a USB C to HDMI cable with about  25cm cable length please  let me know!!  Seriously that one thing would sell me on the decision to NOT make the “ Steam Double Decker”Also sourcing a very specific Lithium ion battery flat enough  to fit the build takes a sacrifice.
