Steam Deck Stand with Wooden Pegs (updated!)
thingiverse
+++ UPDATE +++ Now with a streamlined, more compact version! +++ UPDATE +++ I remixed the *Steam Deck Stand V2* by *russbrucks* to be assembled with 6 mm wooden pegs. By using wooden parts I hope to increase the stability and durability of the object. I also adjusted the hooks and cleaned the mesh a little. I got a tight fit for the pegs by printing the parts out of PLA with a *Prusa i3 MK3S+*. However, you can add a drop of superglue to make sure it will hold. The *frame* has been split in two parts which are connected by the wooden shaft, so make sure to print it twice. You will need the following lengths of 6 mm round wood for the standard version: - 2 × 10 mm pegs for the base - 2 × 12 mm pegs for the hooks - 1 × 79 mm shaft for the frame I added a little animation in the `.blend` file to see how it would move in reality before printing it. To get the objects completely flat in Blender you should skip back to frame 0. +++ UPDATE +++ For the new streamlined version V2 you will need these lengths instead: - 2 × 90 mm shafts for the hooks - 2 × 10 mm pegs for the base - 1 × 79 mm shaft for the frame
