Steam Deck Dock/Display/Stand (Remix), Two-piece interlocking design for smaller 3d printers

<p><strong>Original design credit:</strong><br><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5254208"><strong>Steam Deck Dock/Display Stand by neebick - Thingiverse</strong></a></p><p>The original model is sized:<br>297.7 x 70.5 x 114.4 mm<br>(approx. 11.7 x 2.7 x 4.5 in)</p><p>The purpose of this remix is to allow the model to be created on 3D printers with a smaller bed volume, such as:</p><p>Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro<br>220 x 220 x 250 mm<br>(8.6 x 8.6 x 9.8 in)</p><p>Prusa Mini/Mini+<br>180 x 180 x 180 mm<br>(7 x 7 x 7 in)</p><p>The model is split into two pieces, making the larger of the two pieces only 191.4 mm. &nbsp;The two pieces join securely with a dovetail connection. &nbsp;Holding both printed pieces upside down, firmly press and then hammer the smaller piece down into the receiving connection of the larger piece. &nbsp;No glue or adhesive of any kind is used. &nbsp;Once connected, the pieces very tight and permanently joined. &nbsp;</p><p>Note that both pieces can be printed together on the Prusa Mini/Mini+, but they must be oriented diagonally where the bed volume allows for a bit more area. &nbsp;<br><br><strong>I used the following print settings:</strong><br>-20% infill<br>-210 print temperature<br>-50 bed temperature<br>-40 mm/s speed<br>-Normal support structure touching build plate with 45 degree overhang threshold. &nbsp;Only the rear of the larger piece needs support. &nbsp;Adding supports to the logo/letters would be very difficult to remove. &nbsp;I'd suggest you put support blockers there. &nbsp;<br>-Bed adhesion such as skirts/rafts should be avoided as it will make the print too large, defeating the purpose of this model.<br><br><br>Original description:</p><blockquote><p><br>My take at a dock/display stand for the Steam Deck. The back logo is intended for adhesive rubber cut in shaped of the logo for added grip.</p><p>I have hollowed the base to allow a usb c hub to be stored under it. The current clearance is 10.86 mm but I can make it taller if there are any hubs that need it. The image I have included is an example of 2 hub locations. There is a model with a side hole and without. The hub on the back is a Cable Matters model 201048-BLK that I had purchased for my deck.</p><p>I have included a version with a cavity that can fit the Anker 7in1 hub. It does come closer to the vents but does not block them. The cable is fed out the hole and you should secure the hub with double sided adhesive tape.</p><p>HAS NOT BEEN TESTED! I am hoping that the groove will prove sufficient to hold the deck but I don't have one yet as of posting.</p></blockquote>
