Steam Deck Belly Stand NOT Adjustable for Mini/+
prusaprinters
I really loved the concept of porgekins's Steam Deck Belly Stand Adjustable, but when I actually tried using it, I ran into a few issues. With the stock screws (which have 2.5mm of unthreaded length when the back of the channel is only 1mm thick, leaving 1.5mm for the base to wiggle back and forth), it was really unstable.Even on the lowest setting, it was maybe a little higher than I wanted. The stand was too large to print flat on my Mini+, so I had to chop off the bottoms of the legs to fit the bed.The wiggling issue was solved with remixed screws, but that still left me with a stand that's a little higher than I'll want for everyday use. So I made a cut-down, merged version of the stand that not only gives me a lower height but also is short enough to print flat on a Mini/+ bed. Personally, I am finding the height really comfortable, so if the original stand is too tall for you, this one might be just right!
