Steam Controller DPad Mod (no diagonals)
thingiverse
I designed a Dpad mod for my Steam Controller because I constantly clicked the wrong direction when using it in Dpad mode - a big, circular design that made accidental diagonal presses all too easy. To help correct this issue, I created a design that would guide users away from these incorrect presses when used as a Dpad. Since there was no attachment point on the controller, I simply used blue tack to secure each of the four surfaces in place - and it has worked out perfectly so far. Given its incredibly thin 0.8mm profile, I opted to print the mod at a high 0.1 layer height to ensure maximum detail and accuracy.
