This model steam engine, styled like a locomotive and designed for display purposes, was transformed into a functioning machine after careful adjustments and the application of graphite. It operates on compressed air and may be modified with an enlarged piston and bigger valve ports. The STL files for the nine (9) parts are provided, along with a Rhino model file for customization. The AirEngineComplete.stl is just for visual reference. Assembly should be straightforward, but the flywheel shaft may need trimming if not used as a power takeoff. Feel free to ask questions about this project.
