To guarantee continuous fresh steam supply while catering to fluctuating demand, a steam accumulator is installed in specific processes where peak steam requirements exist. This device addresses issues of surplus and insufficient steam production by ensuring energy savings and improved product/service quality. The proposed accumulator features P265GH steel shell (12 mm thickness), an overall volume of 22.4 m3, working water volume of 13.5 m3, max pressure of 13 bar (14 bar optional), working pressure of 10 bar (11 bar optional), steam velocity through injectors at 21 m/s, and a mass of 6,500 kg without the platform. Future improvements may lead to version 2 with further redesign and enhancements.
