Stealth Bookends

Stealth Bookends

thingiverse

I aimed to create a bookend that would be effortless to print and visually appealing. The design seems to have achieved both goals, but it might be too edgy for households with small children. I'm considering designing a non-edged version in the future. This bookend was printed in PLA plastic using my PRUSA i3 printer. At this point, I only have black filament available, but I believe a different color would enhance the overall look if used for the uprights. Print Settings: Printer: PRUSA i3 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2 mm Notes: The base was printed with 15% honeycomb infill and the uprights at 25% rectangular infill. Post-Printing: To assemble this bookend, I repurposed some #6 screws approximately 13mm (1/2") in length to secure the uprights into the base. How I Designed This: This design was created using Fusion 360.
