The Steadicam Smoothee accommodates several devices via its mounts, however it lacks an all-purpose 1/4-20 tripod mount. An adapter that latches into place makes up for this shortcoming, permitting you to attach virtually any device featuring a regular tripod socket. I designed this adapter by taking precise measurements of the base of the supplied GoPro mount intended for the Smoothee. Standard resolution proved adequate but I utilized 50% infill to boost its strength and supports for the countersunk area where the screw resides. To enhance functionality, you may wish to attach a thin piece of cork or rubber material to the adapter's top surface.
