The new LiPo charger add-on board for Teensy 3.X utilizes ST Microelectronics' STBC08 linear battery charger, offering 300mA (solder jumper marked 300 mA), 500mA (default), or 800mA charge current by closing or cutting the solder jumper marked 500 mA. This LiPo charger maintains the same convenient form factor as the popular original LiPo battery charger add-on based on MAX1555, but provides a wider range of charge currents and features an additional yellow LED indicator for USB power good, alerting users to potential issues with the USB line. The slide switch has also been improved with lugs to enhance durability. This upgraded charger simplifies and enhances all Teensy projects.
