I designed a basic sign for my room to let my roommates know what's happening... :D Using WS2812 LEDs and a NodeMCU board, I control it via Node-RED. As a diffuser, I used standard 11mm glue sticks - you can find them on eBay at this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143107549310 - along with some thin paper. My first creation is now uploaded to Thingiverse! I built it using Tinkercad.
