Statuette of Artemis

Discovered at Pentalophos, Aitoloakarnania, the goddess stands out in a long chiton paired with a shorter one layered on top, her quiver securely fastened over her shoulder. Her flowing locks are skillfully gathered into a knot at the base of her neck. This statuette is classified as an Artemis Collona type and represents a 2nd century AD replica of an original from the latter half of the 4th century BC.
