After gaining independence, a statue was erected in Mogadishu to honor Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan and his beloved horse "Hiin-Faniin". This is part of an ongoing project that focuses on some of the most significant buildings in Mogadishu, which remained standing during the war but are now prominent ruins within the city. The 3D model can be accessed anywhere with internet connectivity. Once completed, we will use current economic, political, and other major trends to envision a possible future for Mogadishu.
