Statue of the personification of the Iliad

myminifactory

This 2nd century statue of Iliad personification probably originated from the Library of Pantainos. It is now showcased at the Stoa of Attalos in Athens, Greece. The Stoa of Attalos was rebuilt in the 1950s as a long pavilion that originally dated back to around 150 BC. This ancient structure was part of the Ancient Agora (market) and currently houses the Museum of the Ancient Agora, featuring clay, bronze, and glass objects, sculptures, coins, and inscriptions from the 7th to the 5th century BC, as well as pottery from the Byzantine period and Turkish conquest.
