This statue, crafted approximately three hundred years ago, commemorates Christian martyr St. Adrian, who met his demise around 250 AD. Originating from Turkey, Adrian's brutal beating left him severely battered, resulting in a gruesome wound that exposed his internal organs. Historically, people would gather around this statue to direct their prayers towards finding relief from stomach ailments.
