The prince holds two revered symbols of authority. In his left hand, a sacred relic is proudly displayed, one that is deeply connected to Osiris and carefully preserved in Abydos. Standing tall atop the other pedestal are majestic figures of Osiris, Isis, and Horus, their presence a testament to the enduring power of these ancient deities. Prayers etched into the back-pillar beseech Osiris for guidance and protection. The inscription at the base of the statue proudly proclaims that it was erected in the province of Tawer, likely within the sacred walls of Abydos itself. Khaemwaset, a high-priest of Ptah in Memphis, is known for his tireless efforts to restore ancient wonders. His fascination with the past drives him to refurbish many monuments from the Old Kingdom era, including the grand pyramid complexes and a majestic sun temple.
