Statue of Liberty

I took a previous scan of a copy of a bronze cast on request by Bartholdi. The original bronze was cast by the French foundry Thiebaut-freres in the late 19th century. The original stood about 21 inches in height. I altered it slightly to more closely reflect the final design of the Statue of Liberty in New York. I altered the rays to more closely align with those in New York. I rotated the flame to approximately the same angle as well. Otherwise I largely left the remainder of the scan as-is. The details are somewhat lacking and could use touch ups by anyone in Blender, Zbrush, etc. The most important details that have been lost are the facial feature, the fingers, the toes, the date on the tablet, the wavy pattern of the coiffure and the balustrade on the torch. Perhaps the broken shackles could use some clarity as well. It will still look good as-is but would be a great project for someone to clean up. The size of this model is 480mm. No particular reason for that size but you can easily resize it in Meshmixer, Netfabb, etc. I hope you enjoy this model. If you do work on it, please share your work with me as I'd love to see it.
