The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical masterpiece situated on Liberty Island in the heart of New York Harbor, within Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi, this iconic statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886, as a gift from the people of France to the United States. Representing Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, the statue depicts a robed female figure holding a torch and a tabula ansata, upon which is inscribed the date July 4, 1776, marking the American Declaration of Independence. A broken chain lies at her feet, symbolizing the triumph over oppression. This iconic statue embodies freedom and serves as a beacon for immigrants arriving in the United States from abroad, welcoming them to their new home. The model consists of basic polygons, with all being either three or four-sided, ensuring that no non-planar polygons are present. The model does not include any grouping information. Basic UV mapping is also included, but textures are not part of this model. We recommend applying your own green metal and rock shaders to achieve the desired look. This model was originally created by Digimation and is now being sold here with their permission.
