This model has been crafted during a valuable internship experience facilitated by the University of Catania (DICAR) and Liceo Artistico M.M. Lazzaro. Catania proudly honors Mazzini and his magnificent monument, one of Italy's earliest tributes to him, on the occasion of 140 years since its grand opening. This striking monument, designed by Francesco Licata, stands tall in the Etna Garden, built beautifully in 1875. As a remarkable work of art, this monument is Italy's first public representation of Mazzini in marble, showcasing his full stature.
