The statue of Diana that was once a garden sculpture taken from Duff's town house in Banff now stands proudly on the North pediment of Duff House. This particular form of Diana is as Luna, the moon goddess, a rare representation in early 18th Century lead statuary. It is one of six classical representations of gods that included Mars, Bacchus, Minerva, Apollo, Mercury, and also Diana. They have been replaced by glass fibre reproductions so visitors can enjoy them for years to come. For more information on visiting Duff House, please visit our website at your earliest convenience. The statue measures 1670 x 800 x 420mm and is part of the Rae Project collection, specifically item DUFF004.
