The imposing statue proudly stands at the entrance to The Institute of Archaeology within Hebrew University's Mt. Scopus campus. This striking marble sculpture was unearthed by Harvard University's excavations between 1908 and 1910 at the ancient Temple of Augustus in Samaria, its head mysteriously absent.
