Statue of Artemis
myminifactory
Statue of Artemis crafted from marble, discovered in Athens, falls under the category known as Artemis Versailles. The goddess is portrayed upright with a clear forward progression, her right hand grasping the horns of a deer beneath which lies a depicted dog. Her arms were constructed from distinct pieces of marble and intricately inlaid. A vibrant red and yellow chiton adorns her, as evident from the remnants of her garment's hem. This object is a Roman replica of a 4th-century BC original attributed to Leochares. This item forms part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory.
