Amenemhat III, also spelled Amenemhet III, was an Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the Twelfth Dynasty from around 1860 BC to 1814 BC. A papyrus dated to Regnal Year 46, I Akhet 22 of his rule is the latest known date found on record. His reign marked the golden age of Egypt's Middle Kingdom period. It is also believed that Amenemhat III shared a coregency with his father Senusret III for nearly two decades.
