The Herculaneum statues known as 'Herculanaises' are small and large sculptures discovered in the ancient city of Herculaneum. Archaeologists believe these statues were copied from two original works created around 900 BC. The draped women's style is reminiscent of Greek sculptor Praxiteles, but the model remains uncertain, sparking debate about whether it depicts Demeter or Persephone. Historians discovered this information by studying the feet of the models alone. This remarkable object is part of Scan The World, a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of 3D printable sculptures and landmarks from around the world.
