Statue of a Siren
myminifactory
Statue of a Siren crafted from Pentelic marble discovered in ancient Kerameikos cemetery, Athens. The mythical winged woman with avian legs and tail mournfully gazes upon the deceased whose tomb she adorned.\r\nHer left hand's palm is all that remains of arms once raised as she grasped her unruly, unbound hair. Dramatic sorrow is conveyed through her torso's pronounced arc, head's sideways tilt, and contracted facial features.
