Myus (Turkey), Temple Area Dating back to 1909; marble, circa 530 BC The young man, missing his head, is dressed in a short-sleeved tunic and a cloak pinned securely over his left shoulder. His hair cascades down his back in flowing pearl strings. Statues of robed men were commonly found in Ionia, where their dynamic poses mirrored the Kouroi. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit project initiated by MyMiniFactory to create a comprehensive digital archive of 3D printable sculptures and artworks from around the world.
