Statue of a Priestess of Isis, Godecharle, Brussels, Hotel Belgiogioso, 1803, Pierre d'Avesnes. Leopold II Collection Museum of the Cinquantenaire (Brussels, Belgium). Created with ReCap Photo Pro from AutoDesk. Egyptology is about combining various Egyptian decorative elements and transforming them into original creations that convey different meanings than their ancient counterparts. This sculpture was created based on documents dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. A total of eight documents were used to recreate this representation of a Priestess of Isis, with some hieroglyphics intentionally fictionalized.
