This captivating statuette stands approximately 24 inches tall, dating back to the Roman Era and unearthed in Byblos. Although it is partially fragmented, comparisons with other similar sculptures reveal a nymph grasping a seashell. Interestingly, another identical piece can be admired at The State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, alongside several replicas of its kind.
