I'm fed up with messing around with my tripods for a while now. Even mid-range models are pretty shaky when you want to add a 5 kg load plus the head to it. I've been searching for ages, but haven't found the right upgrade kit for me yet. So I print out parts with a 3D printer instead. By now, I'm past the test stage and using a well-functioning prototype. In this case, it's for the Manfrotto MT 055XPRO3 tripod. I've completely taken apart the inside of the head part and replaced it with new parts (check out the photos).
