<p>This is a station for a model cable car (Modellseilbahn) Scale 1:32.<br/>It has been designed to fit the KMS Modellseilbahn (<a href="http://modellseilbahnen.ch/5052.html">http://modellseilbahnen.ch/5052.html</a>)</p><p>The design has been inspired by the real life cable car station on the Weissenstein in Canton Solothurn, Switzerland. (It uses a lot of support material especially between the "curved rafts").</p><p>When you have a print bed large enough you can use the total model, otherwise you can print all eleven parts. They do print in a volume of 20 X 20 X 20 cm.</p><p>After printing, glue the parts together. For guidance you have some pins in the design.<br/>These pins however also determine the order of glueing!</p><h3>Post-Printing</h3><p>After glueing you probably have to fill some gaps and paint the object to imitate Oak and Pine wood.</p><p>When you want to add some acrylic window imitation (Back and middle windows) you can use the drawing provided. It should be possible to print 1 to 1 on an A3 printer. You can then use the print as a template for cutting the acrylic's windows.</p><h3>How I Designed This</h3><p>I used Fusion 360, and information in the internet describing the real cable car station on the Weissenstein.</p><p>First I modelled the original design as good as possible with estimated dimensions.<br/>Then I changed the design to make it a tight fit around the KMS model cable car.</p>
