Stasis Pod from Transformers Beast Wars

One of the most iconic centerpieces from the Beast Wars universe, the Stasis Pods were almost second-most important resource to the Transformers. And every time one falls out of orbit and becomes sought after by both sides, the excitement mounts as you know a new character was about to join the series! And so here we have it - our very own take on this iconic piece, sized to allow for deluxe class figure to be placed within! The stasis pod opens at the lid (which is assembled on hinges), as well as the side terminal. Also included in this set is a protoform piece, so you can optionally print and have it inside waiting to become the next transformer! ;) So in all fairness, some of the older figures with chest or back kibble may not fit inside nicely with the lid closed. But let's hope the new WFC Kingdom bots will be sized ok for this. Otherwise, it may require re-scaling to be slightly larger before 3d printing. === ASSEMBLY === How the parts go together are shown in the attached assembly diagram. The 3d print files have been named as shown above and it should be fairly easy to figure how where they go. Holding the parts together is done using the "connector" piece. For the lid, you will need 5mm pegs to connect the upper and lower parts together. Also , do note that you will need to get the hinges in place first before "combining" the lid pieces else there will be no way of getting the hinges in position. The terminal lid is connect to the lower portions using a 1.5mm rod or wire. We used a section of brass rod as that seemed to work well. === Well then, hope this piece brings back some nice memories for y'all and provides something new to print over this coming festive season.
