StashCan 2.0 - 3D Printed Secret Safe with Programmable Lock (Remake)

I really like the “logicalplanet” Printed Secret Safe with Programmable Lock, but I wanted it to be more stealth, and actually use a standard 12oz soda can for an authentic look. I have now made a design that would actually do this using the “StashCan 2.0” design by logicalplanet. None of the original file from “StashCan 2.0” are included here, so you'll have to go to the original model for the rest of the files in order to build this project. There is a 12 oz version, and a 16 oz version. You will have to obtain a donor can to build this model. Cut the top, and bottom off this can. I used a tin-snip tool to do this, as I found it to be the easiest method. See my sample can for how it should look after trimming.12 oz version:StashCan – For_Cola_Rap_12oz.stl – Replaces logicalplanet’s stash-can-2v00s-mid_lp-can-reversethread.stl – Reshaped to fit an actual 12 oz metal soda can once the top and bottom have been trimmed from the metal can.New_Lock_Dial.stl – Replaces logicalplanet’s stashcan-2v00s-lock_lock-dial.stl. You can use the original file if you like, but I found the version I have here to cause less skipping of the gears while turning the combination lock. This sometimes resulted not being unable to use the combination correctly every time. I also increased the depth of the numbers by 0.2 mm.Lock-Dial-Handle-Key – Not actually necessary for turning the dial. I just found it more convenient. Can be used for the 16 oz version.Refer to logicalplanet’s design for the rest off the files you will need to print to complete this project. 16 oz version:To print the taller can, use these files:stashcan-tall-metal_wrapped.stl – Same as the 12 oz version, but is 33.21 mm taller.stashcan-tall-mid_liner.stl – same as logicalplanet’s stashcan-2v00s-mid_liner.stl, but 33.2 mm taller.stashcan-tall-mid_lock-latch.stl – same as logicalplanet’s stashcan-2v00s-mid_lock-latch.stl, but 33.3 mm taller.stashcan-tall-mid_thread-lock.stl – same as logicalplanet’s stashcan-2v00s-mid_thread-lock.stl, but 33 mm taller.Refer to logicalplanet’s design for the rest off the files you will need to print to complete this project.Note: I used logicalplanet's printer setting where appropriate. I printed my StashCan in PLA and PETG. I would recommend PETG for durability and weather resistance.
