Hey, I came up with something for the "MakeItLoud" challenge and it was this spinning top that can whistle when it spins. I had designed it in Blender after that, and tried creating a spiral with the whistle; it turned out really cool and looked like a galaxy. Galaxies always make me think of stars. When I think of stars, they look kind of like... stars! So, next, I came up with a laser saber to launch from it. This design needs to be 100% printable in 3D, so I'm using FilaFlax for the string. I really hope you all like my project. Unfortunately, I can't print it right now because I don't have access to any printers - hopefully winning one would be a possibility. Have fun and cast your votes! I used Blender... I started by designing the whistle, then added a spiral afterwards, next created the main part of the spinning top and finally made my laser saber. I've put all these elements together for you now !
