StarWars TieFighter Gen2
thingiverse
After my TieFighter Gen1, I decided to create a new and simplified version. In addition, there shouldn't be any visible cables left over from the old model. After a few weeks of hard work, Gen2 was finally done. But as it often does, real life kept moving forward and I never had the chance to put it online until now. I'm using standard materials and components that every model builder should have at home. The whole assembly process is supposed to be self-explanatory, but I made a short video to help out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rvou3XwCeqw&t=180s Depending on the controller used, some owners may experience issues with longitudinal stability and wind sensitivity. To address this problem, I printed the Winglets without cover layers and with an infill of around 45%. Have fun building your own TieFighter Gen2! I hope everything turns out exactly as you envisioned. Some flight footage can be found here: https://youtu.be/2D95EzOs3RY
