I wanted to create a Pokemon themed checkers piece for a gift and came across the mandalorian checker piece by nat_a_cyborg and really loved the textured outer ring they used on their design. So I started with their design and removed all the mandalorian theming and replaced it with StarWars theming. I put the empire logo on one side and the rebels logo on the other to differentiate the king side from the default side. I am a sucker for multicolor prints, but do have a MMU as I am waiting for the XL to ship, so i made the gcode work with a "normal" mk3s using the M600 (filament swap) command as a custom tool change gcode. There are only 5 color changes (2 groupings of fast color changes), which makes this a low investment of extra time for the extra wow factor of the multicolor print.

The color order for the print in the pictures is the following:

Black

White

Black

White

Black

You should double check that the size works for your game board and if you need to scale it, i would recommend only scaling in the x-y plane and leaving the z scale the same, as you will add more color changes required if you scale the z height.

I used following filaments in my print:

Jessie Premium PLA 1.75mm X Soul Black Glitter

Jessie Premium PLA 1.75mm X 3DPN Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
