StarWars Rebel Battle Cruiser
thingiverse
Hi Guys, This is my Rebel Battle Cruiser from the Star Wars universe. I designed it entirely on my own, but I drew inspiration from other ships and designs to make it truly unique. There's so much detail packed into this model that I've lost track of some of the original elements - if you spot something familiar, please let me know and I'll be happy to give credit where credit is due. Part five of the file is quite large, so you may need to tweak it a bit to get it to print smoothly. Mine printed without any issues, but feel free to experiment to find the right balance. Take a close look at the front section - it's heavily influenced by David Bogearts' fantastic Tantive design. And if you take a peek at the rear engine sections, you'll notice they're based on F1 engines from the Saturn V. Now that we've got our ship ready, let's gear up and take down those Imperial Star Destroyers! Best, Colin Update 4/5/18: I've split Part 4 into three separate wings to make it easier to work with. Update 14/5/18: The engine top Greeblys have been added. Update 8/7/19: Part 5, cut 2 has been repaired and the file size reduced for smoother printing. Update 12/7/19: I've fixed the side gun turret and added a new radar dish. Update 22/7/19: Part 2 has been replaced with a fixed version.
