Starwars AT-ST is another addition to my expanding fleet of starwars vehicles. This sturdy unit stands unassisted at 730mm, boasting removable roof for cockpit viewing, which will soon be equipped with the fully fitted out equipment bay. Its toes, neck, top hatch and side arms are all in motion, adding an element of dynamic fun to its design. The model's development was truly enjoyable. Its 1/72nd scale stl files were skillfully created by me, after which they were scaled up by 400% to transform the model into a massive 1/18th scale marvel. This elaborate model consists of a whopping 111 individual stl files organized into distinct folders for each intricate part of the Starwars AT-ST. Accompanying these are invaluable drawings and photos, showcasing step-by-step metal framework construction for the legs - a truly optional feature that proves quite valuable nonetheless. One highly beneficial file available to those constructing their own models is titled Jigs; this incredible resource helps navigate the delicate balance between accurately positioning holes with the precision required in 3D printing. Nevertheless, my preferred approach has always been to print out the large model pieces, carefully measuring and then attaching metal rods while taking the time to meticulously locate holes, drill and fine-tune to perfection. A special note on its legs; all cross-bar connections have been meticulously dimensioned for absolute accuracy, simplifying assembly by eliminating potential discrepancies during model building.
