I'm experimenting with Microsoft 3D Builder using these excellent designs: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:702374, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:871993, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:871919, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:872004, and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:872001. Here's the STL outcome. I printed this model hollow without support on my Boot Industries Delta printer with these settings: extruder size= 0.5mm, Repetier using CuraEngine slicer, wall thickness=1mm, quality=0.25mm, and no filling. Update: I edited the model to ensure that the logos are in scale on the pyramid. Thanks for watching! Learning to Use Microsoft 3D Builder Using Microsoft 3D Builder is a great way to learn about 3D modeling. I'm learning how to use it by experimenting with different designs and settings. First, I need to choose a design from Thingiverse or create one from scratch. Then, I import the design into Microsoft 3D Builder and start editing it. Next, I select the print settings and export the model as an STL file. After that, I slice the model using CuraEngine slicer and prepare it for printing. Once the model is printed, I inspect it to see if everything looks good. If not, I make adjustments and try again.
