If you enjoy this puzzle, I invite you to explore the many more puzzles available on my Etsy site: https://www.etsy.com/shop/arcWoodPuzzles. *Update 2/23/2020* To connect the joints in alphabetical order will make it significantly easier. I printed off the 0.12 offset pieces and found this approach worked well for me. There are tighter (.07) and looser (.16) options available, if desired. The STL files were generated using PuzzleCAD: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198014 The .scad file for this puzzle is included, should you wish to vary the offsets further. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the StarTIC puzzle, requiring a few rotations and 7 moves to remove the first piece, with a total of 23 moves needed to complete. I would rate the assembly of this puzzle as extremely difficult and the disassembly as challenging but enjoyable. My intention was for this to be a disassembly puzzle; I recommend trying to assemble the pieces in place within the puzzle, then leaving yourself a disassembly puzzle. This is a Turning Interlocking puzzle that I designed with the aid of a computer program I created. The name of the puzzle is printed onto one of the faces of the pieces. It requires no supports and features snap-together joints to create more complex pieces. The joints should lock tightly and permanently. Sometimes, a small clamp can be helpful in getting the pieces to snap together if they are slightly too snug, or a gel-based super glue can be used to fill any looseness of the joint. I am happy to provide a solution if requested.
