Starstruck

The Art Deco sculpture captures a stunning young woman in a long fitting gown and an elaborate headdress representing a star-studded sky. The figure rests on a sturdy base. This beautiful piece is inspired by the renowned work of Jepe, which clearly draws from the remarkable style of Erte. Erte (Roman Petrovich Tyrtov) was a celebrated artist and designer of the 20th century, known for his contributions to fashion, jewelry, graphics, costume design, and set design for film, theater, and opera, as well as interior design. His impressive works are now showcased at esteemed institutions like the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Institution. The original model was meticulously refined in ZBrush to ensure flawless 3D printing on both small and large scales. To facilitate large-scale printing, the sculpture is divided into two parts along its height. Connecting channels are cleverly designed for easy assembly with pins, allowing seamless integration with a sturdy base. Reference: https://3dladnik.wixsite.com/workshop/starstruck
