The sleek art-deco statue shows off a lovely young woman wearing an elegant, long-fitting gown and adorned with a show-stopping headdress that mimics the stars in a constellation. The figure sits atop a solid base. This artwork was directly inspired by the incredible work of Jepe, who is clearly influenced by Erté's remarkable career as a 20th-century artist and designer. Erté (Roman Petrovich Tyrtov) worked tirelessly in various fields including fashion, jewelry design, graphic art, costume design for film and theater, set designs for cinema, theater, and opera, as well as interior decoration. Many of his masterpieces can be found on display at top museums like the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Institution. On my living room shelf now sits a stunning 1/7 scale Starrek figurine measuring 363 mm tall, and next to it is an exquisite 1/18 scale statue that beautifully adorns my car collection. For further details see: https://3dladnik.wixsite.com/portfolio/starstruck-en The original design was perfected in ZBrush to guarantee flawless 3D printing results on both small and large scales. To achieve this, the larger scale model was divided into two sections based on the figurine's height so that they could be connected securely with a stand using installed pins. This incredible artwork has been successfully printed using an FDM printer known as Lad-1.0 (https://3dladnik.wixsite.com/portfolio/lad-1-0-en) at three different scales - 1/7, 1/10 and 1/18. It boasts remarkable detail and can look fantastic when displayed in scale from 1/7 to much larger heights, with a size of 363 mm tall in its smallest display form.
