The Starship Roger Young was a Corvette Transport vessel in the United Citizen Federation Fleet, serving under its designation (176). A catastrophic asteroid attack struck the ship's communications array, leaving it severely damaged. The damaged Starship Roger Young underwent extensive repairs, with a new command module installed to restore its operational capabilities. After successful repairs, the Starship Roger Young rejoined active service and played a pivotal role in the Battle of Klendathu, where only a few ships escaped relatively unscathed. Despite suffering moderate damage during this battle, the ship was ultimately destroyed during the Invasion of Planet P when a devastating Plasma burst ripped it in two.
