This is a Starship food delivery robot toy/ornament. Ever since my daughter went to college we loved seeing these cute little robots roaming the campus. For Christmas I wanted to print a Starship ornament but I never found any that would be easy to print in multiple colors on a single-color printer without supports so I designed this one.Print each part in the suggested color and the flag in either red or white. You will need to print six wheels. Assemble as follows:Slide the wht_middle_lower onto the blk_body.Slide the wht_middle_upper onto the blk_body.Slide the blk_visor onto the blk_body.Cut two small 12mm long pieces of filament and insert them into the front and rear holes on the top of the blk_body. These are the alignment pegs for attaching the wht_top.Put a couple of dabs of superglue on the top of the blk_body and then attach the wht_top using the alignment pegs.Mount the wheels to the body using six M3x10mm socket head screws. If you want the wheels to be functional do not tighten them all the way so they can rotate.Cut another piece of of 70-75mm long black filament. Insert one end into the blk_visor and the other into the red_flag. Use a small dab of superglue on each end to hold it in place making sure the flag is rotated correctly before gluing. If possible use ABS or some other filament that does not get brittle. Avoid PLA as it can break easily.(Optional) If you want to make it an ornament add a small eyelet screw to the wht_top.Enjoy!Print SettingsSupports:NoFilament:AnyCategory: Model Robots
