Stars
thingiverse
We are seventeen students from the Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg-School in Kassel, Germany. In our math class, we studied linear functions. Each of us created a unique star inside a coordinate system on paper. We then learned how to set up functional equations that describe each star. Using these functions, we used the app "desmos" to redraw the stars. These stars were then converted into files for 3D printing. Thanks to funding provided by the VDI, our school was able to purchase a 3D printer and we watched with excitement as our stars were being printed.
With this file you will be able to print Stars with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Stars.
